What is Project VUCA Prime?
Project VUCA Prime is an ongoing conversation around emergent possibilities in a world where we recognize that VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) is ever present, and the illusion of control often leads us towards suboptimal outcomes. The late Robert Ellis, in his book Coaching From Essence, honed in on the concept of B-Prime being the future possibilities that are beyond our current capacity to imagine, as we continually learn and adjust along the way. So we are on a Quest, and not a known Path.
What is Project VUCA Prime Up To?
The seed of a conversation sprouted into a Leadership Council gathering in February 2025, to explore the essence and possibilities of Leadership and Ways of Being that bring us closer to Thriving in times of VUCA. By leaders, we mean authors, artists, teachers, healers, coaches, and leaders of organizations working at a range of scales from one to one, to the close in community, to human culture at large. People directly connected to the organizers: our colleagues, mentors, and friends.

This Leadership/Stewardship Council experiment has the stated objectives of catalyzing connection among amazing people who otherwise may not have connected, to see what surprising insights, possibilities, and collaborations might emerge. At the heart of the intention of this experiment is to open the space for Source (aka. The Muse, Collective Consciousness, The Universe, et. al) to have a seat at the table through everyone present.

So this Leadership/Stewardship Council experiment continues, as the first step in the Project VUCA Prime collaboration.
